UP CM #YogiAdityanath to Ask CBI to Probe into UPPSC Appointments Since 2012

July 27, 2017: Uttar Pradesh Government led by Yogi Adityanath has taken a decision to probe into the recruitments done through Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, UPPSC since 2012. UP Government will approach CBI to investigate the matter. On July 19, Yogi Adityanath ordered a probe by an “impartial agency” which will include all the recruitment made by the UPPSC during the erstwhile Akhilesh Yadav government in its periphery.

During a discussion meeting over the annual budget 2017-18, the decision was taken. “The government will go for a CBI probe in the matter. What have you done to the UPPCS… its credibility is in question. We will get all the appointments made in the UPPCS since 2012 probed by the CBI,” said a senior cabinet member. Akhilesh Yadav responded by saying that “our government was giving jobs to the youth but BJP has ordered CBI probe into UPPSC recruitments from 2012.’ In addition, he named the budget as ‘anti-development.’
