The detailed notification for GATE 2018 is eagerly awaited which will include details like eligibility criteria, application fees and the exam centres. The online application process for the applicants of GATE 2018 will commence from September 01, 2017. In 2018, the applicants will be able to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam from February 03, 04, 10 & 11. The GATE 2018 exam is conducted to ascertain the applicants understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. The applicants who wish to apply for GATE 2018 also need to be aware that the scores of GATE exam is valid for a period of 2 years and is also considered for recruitment to many Public Sector Undertaking (PSUs).
It has to be noted by GATE 2018 aspirants that the scores are accepted by BSNL JTO, ONGC, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltx, Indian Oil Corporation, National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Mazagon Dock limited, Gujarat State Electricity Limited, COal India Limited, National Thermal Power Corporation, Punjab State Power corporation etc. It has to be noted that getting a good GATE score does not ensure that the aspirants will be selected. The scores are used for screening aspirants.
The applicants who are eager to apply for the recruitment through GATE scores need to familiar with the online procedure on how to apply online for recruitment’s to ONGC and other PSUs. It has to be noted that all the applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions which have bee stipulated in the advertisement.
