AICC Delhi in-charge PC Chacko sends resignation to Sonia

New Delhi,: After DPCC Chief Ajay maken announced resignation from the party over its poor show in the MCD polls, AICC General Secretary in-charge of Delhi, PC Chacko, today offered to resign from his posts. “Both of us ( PC Chacko and Maken) in a way failed in our responsibility. Party should have opportunity to put things in order and improve the situation,” Mr Chacko said. Mr Chacko has sent his resignation to the Congress President Sonia Gandhi and party Vice-president Rahul Gandhi, accepting responsibility for the dismal show by the Congress in the MCD polls. The Congress party today put up a dismal show in the elections to the three MCDs, being relegated to the third spot after BJP and AAP.
