New Delhi, Oct 30: A 26-year-old model Abhishek Narula was killed, after his car was hit by another vehicle at a red light signal in northwest Delhi’s Bharat Nagar. Accompanied by his two friends Randeep and Yogesh, Narula was sitting on the front seat with the driver when the mishap took place. According to the reports, the impact of the accident was such that the model was thrown out of the car and sustained severe injuries
Talking to IANS, a senior police officer said that when Abhishek Narula stopped his car at a red light signal near a flyover , a speeding Honda City car rammed into his car. Narula and his friends Randeep and Yogesh were injured and taken to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, Narula succumbed to his injuries yesterday.
“Narula had come to meet his family members in Delhi on Diwali vacation. He on Saturday went to meet his friend Randeep in Bharat Nagar from where they were joined by another friend Yogesh. They were going to withdraw some money from a ATM booth in east Delhi when the accident happened,” the policeman further informed.
The driver of the offending vehicle, Kartik (21), has been reportedly taken into the custody.
