India Today Group Channels Aaj Tak and India Today TV won 19 awards out of a total of around 40 categories at the 11th ENBA Awards. This record haul is a significant reminder of the undisputed leadership position of India Today Group channels across Editorial, Production, and Creative capabilities. The Group bagged both the title categories with Aaj Tak winning the Best Hindi News Channel of the year and India Today TV securing the Best English News Channel of the year.
Anchors Rahul Kanwal and Anjana Om Kashyap were awarded as the Best Anchors (English & Hindi). India Today TV’s Shiv Aroor was adjudged the Best Reporter – English for his coverage of Karnataka’s Cauvery & Kolar issues. Managing Editor of TV Today Network – Supriya Prasad was bestowed with the Best Editor-in-Chief – Hindi for Aaj Tak. Notably the awards for best performance in coverage for general news incidents like former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Death Coverage and Journalist Mausami Singh’s coverage of the Thailand rescue won accolades for Aaj Tak.

Under the programming category, Aaj Tak won the Gold award for the best current affairs programme in Hindi ‘Vishesh’; the Jury award for best current affairs programme in Hindi ‘Sehmi Galliyan’; the best business programme – ‘Budget 2018-19’ and the best talk show – ‘Halla Bol’. Aaj Tak also excelled in the personality category by securing the award for the best video editor Hindi ‘Amit, Fahim, Gaurav – AAA Dwarka’ and the best news producer Hindi ‘Navin Kumar – Dustak’. The channel also outperformed in the marketing category by winning the best channel or programme promo Hindi ‘Saare Jahan se Sacha.’
Under the programming category, India Today TV secured the award for the best current affairs programme in English ‘Surviving Bastar’; best in-depth series English ‘Kashmiri who never left’. India Today TV also excelled in the personality category by winning the best video editor English ‘Satish Kapoor – The Kashmiri who never Left’ and best news producer English ‘Samkhya Edamaruku – Gujarat & Karnataka election coverage’.
