Khwabgaah Organises Gulf’s Mahakumbh of Poetry Festival, “Dil Se Desh Tak”

22nd May 2023 Khwabgaah: House of dreams presented Second Season of Annual Poetry Festival, “Dil Se Desh Tak” .The evening under the patronage of the Indian
Embassy in the line with India celebrating its 75 years of Independence.

It was held on May 21st at 6:00 pm at the Indian Embassy in Seef. The Poetry Session was coordinated by Mrs. Anupam Ramesh Kinger, founder of Khwabgaah.

In the last 5 years, since the inception of Khwabgaah, it has presented 3 houseful theatrical plays , “Main, Noor Bano”, “Ram Rattan Hazir Ho”, “Zill-e￾Tabaahi ” and an awareness event “I Do not Love Plastic”. Additionally, 28 audio stories have been written and produced, which are all available on YouTube. The organization has also staged 20 live poetry sessions.

Khwabgaah has been staging Hindi plays, stories and poems in Bahrain for the last five years and is committed to keeping the flame of Hindi literature
burning. He Ambassador Mr. Piyush Srivastava and Madam Mrs. Monika Srivastava were the chief guests. The event began with a welcome speech by Mrs. Anupam Ramesh Kinger, followed by a lamp lighting ceremony conducted by the Second Secretary Political and the invited Poets.
The program, ” Dil Se Desh Tak”, which ran for about one and a half hours, featured 12 outstanding Indian poets from the GCC, who recited their
original poetry in Hindi.

Honored poets invited in this Poetry Session were Mr. Tufail Ahmad, Mrs. Simmi Kumari, Mrs. Sneha Dev, Mrs.Nazneen Ali, Mrs. Anu Bafna, Dr. Nitin
Upadhye, Mrs.Lalita Misra, Mr.Avdhesh Rana, Mr.Shabbir Husain Munawer, Mrs.Pallavi Jain, Mrs. Rupa Bhargava, Mrs. Danish Rizvi Poets recited their self-composed poems within the context of Patriotism. The auditorium echoed by the audience clapping

The poetry recitation ended with Mrs. Anupama Ramesh Kinger, founder of Khwabgaah, with an enthralling Hindi poem. As the program came to a close, in the absence of the HE Ambassador Mr.
Piyush Srivastava , Second Secretary Political Mr. Ijaz felicitated the poets

with deep respect, presented them mementos and commended the program greatly, giving the event high respect. Mrs. Anupam Ramesh Kinger concluded the program with a thank you note.
