Faridabad, 12 August 2022: Apeejay School Faridabad, recently organised a week-long celebration titled ‘Incredible India Week’, to mark the 75 years of Independence – ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. The school had curated multiple activities related to the Independence Day theme.
These activities were organised with the aim to inculcate the spirit of patriotism, make the students aware of the nation’s freedom struggle and appreciate the efforts of freedom fighters.
Students engaged in myriad activities such as story-telling, drawing, quiz, and fancy-dress. A special workshop was held on ‘Being a good citizen’. In story-telling the topic was ‘Unity is Strength’. In drawing the theme was ‘Amazing Facts of India’. Most students made the drawings with the three colours of the national flag. Further, a special assembly on the theme Independence Day was also held to inculcate in students an appreciation and respect for their nation and its diversity.
