Upasana Makati is the Founder & Publisher of White Print – India’s first English lifestyle magazine in Braille for the visually impaired. After realizing the absolute absence of reading literature for the visually impaired in India, she started White Print in 2013. This monthly magazine reaches schools, colleges, old age homes, hospitals, libraries in the remotest corners of the country. Upasana made it to the Forbes India 30 Under 30 list in 2016, Smart CEO, Limca Books of Records, Top 50 start ups in India and received the L’OrealFemina Woman’s Award for Science and Innovation.
She was honored with INDIAN WOMEN ACHIEVERS AWARD by the President of India on January 20, 2018 at New Delhi.
