Dr. Indira Hinduja is a renowned consultant, gynaecologist and infertility specialist, founder of IVF Centre earlier at INKUS (1989) and presently at P.D. Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre(2011). She was conferred with the prestigious “Padma Shri” (2011) by The Government of India and ‘The Dhanvantri Award ( 2000) by The Governor of Maharashtra for the pioneering work in the field of infertility and assisted reproduction which led the birth of the first scientifically documented test tube baby in India on 6th August 1986.
She was honored with INDIAN WOMEN ACHIEVERS AWARD by the President of India on January 20, 2018 at New Delhi.
