Apr. 27, 2017: JEE Main 2017 Results are expected today at the official website jeemain.nic.in. Candidates who had appeared for the paper and pen mode as well as the computer based examinations should be able to check the results on the official website today. This is important to note that there is no fresh update regarding the declaration of the results. The results are expected today as per the official notification released at the time of application forms of JEE Main 2017. The Results are likely to be made available by CBSE after 12 pm as per sources. Students would require their JEE Main Admit Card numbers to access their JEE Main 2017 Results.

Once the results of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE), are announced the students will be able to check the JEE Main results and the All India Ranks (AIR). After the declaration of JEE Main Paper -I results, the score of JEE Main 2017 will comprise the actual marks obtained in Paper-I of JEE (Main) 2017 along with the status of those who qualify for appearing in JEE (Advanced) 2017. It is expected that around 2,20,000 students would be shortlisted as eligible for appearing in the JEE Advanced 2017 Examination this year. The JEE Advanced would be conducted on May 21 and application forms would be available shortly after release of JEE Main 2017 Results.

The JEE Main exam was conducted on April 2 in the offline mode while on April 8 and April 9 was conducted in the offline mode. The results of JEE Main Exam conducted by CBSE are expected by approximately 2,20,000 students. The students were also able to access the answer keys and OMR sheets . For checking the JEE Main Results 2017, aspirants will need to login to the official websites of the CBSE or JEE Main. Students please note that the CBSE JEE Main Result 2017 would be declared simultaneously on 4 servers. Students can click on the link provided to log on to either of them. Candidates also need to enter their registration number, Date of Birth and other details as necessary and submit them. Once the JEE Main Exam Score 2017 is displayed on the screen, aspirants would be able to save it for future reference and for applying to the JEE Advanced exam.

Admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board will be based on All India Rank (AIR).or SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12 th class examination. Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.E./B.Tech.& B. Arch./B.Planning Courses in NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs has been given in the official website. Students are advised to keep checking the official website for details.

Students are further informed that neither CBSE not JEE Main Unit was reachable for comment. When we reached out to sources close to the board, it was suggested that the result link might be activated after noon today. There is however there is still no official update on delay of the results. Under the present circumstances, hence, students are requested to be patient and keep checking the page for any further updates.
