MCD Elections 2017: Not AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal, BJP sees threat in Congress’ ‘resurgence’ in Delhi

Delhi is gearing up for the upcoming MCD elections scheduled to be held on April 23. The election is touted as a battleground between BJP and AAP. But BJP is feeling that the main threat will come in form of Congress, according to The Indian Express report. "The times have changed and so has people’s perception about Arvind Kejriwal. The AAP now stands exposed. Hence, we should focus our energies on the Congress," Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel said, the report said. It is quite bewildering that BJP feels that Congress is the main threat instead of AAP even as Amit Shah himself had stressed on defeating Arvind Kejriwal-led party to send a strong message to opposition.
