New Delhi, July 20: The early morning rains in the national capital on Thursday brought respite from the humid conditions, but commuters faced a hard time in getting to their destination. According to reports, some parts of Delhi like Patparganj, IP Extension have received heavy rainfall that led to waterlogging.
Noida in the National Capital Region also received heavy rains in the early hours of the day. While some areas faced minor traffic jams, roads were clear in major parts. Sector 12, 16, 18 and 56 of Noida were heavily filled with water. According to Skymet Weather, Delhi will witness light showers for the next seven days, however, the day temperature will be close to 33 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature today is likely to be 36 degrees during the day and 29 degrees during the night. Delhi welcomed the monsoon in the beginning of July, but rain spells were seen in intervals. Skymet had also predicted that from July 20 onwards national capital will witness good spells of rain.
