Greater Noida, 30th March: Despite parliament session and tight legislative and executive schedule, Union MoS for Textiles Darshana V. Jardosh on Wednesday formally inaugurated the IHGF Delhi Fair by lighting the lamp and releasing the Delhi fair 2022 guide in a glittering ceremony at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida.
The event was graced by the EPCH Chairman Raj Kumar Malhotra, Shantmanu, Handicrafts Development Commissioner and a bunch of other leading and large handicrafts exporters.
Rakesh Kumar, DG, EPCH and Chairman, India Expo Centre showered praise on the MoS for Textiles Darshana V. Jardosh for inaugurating the fair despite the fact that the lift in her building stopped working and she was forced to resort to taking stairs from the 11th floor of her building to reach the venue. Audience, consisting mostly of handicrafts exporters, too appreciated and gave her standing ovation for this.
Minister in her address said that being a daughter of a photographer, I can say that continuous innovation and creativity is a must for success in any business. Like earlier, big cameras were used for taking photos, but now a days, thanks to the innovations and creativity, even mobile camera can also capture good photos.
Minister, before and after the inauguration spent a lot of time and energy in visiting many stalls of handicrafts exporters and hailed them for their creativity.
With some exporters, she spoke in Gujrati and tried to get more insights, she took the hands-on experience of different products that are being exhibited at the IHGF Fair 2022.
