Ms. Hemalatha broke Guinness World Record of continuous Mohiniyattom performance of 108 hours by crossing 123.15 hours landmark. She performed dances in and out of India at several places bringing laurels to Kalamandalam and recognition to the devouttepee arts of Kerala-Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Mohiniyattom. She danced her way to accolades for 30 long years.
She was honored with INDIAN WOMEN ACHIEVERS AWARD by the President of India on January 20, 2018 at New Delhi.
