New Delhi, Dec 29: The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) have been postponed. The dates for the test have been changed to April 29 (UG) and May 5 and 6 (PG) from the earlier declared dates of April 15, 21 and 22, 2018. The notification regarding the change of dates has been issued on the official website – upsee.nic.inAbdul Kalam Technical University will conduct the examination to ensure the admission of students in engineering courses and other institutes that fall under the university.
According to the reports, the candidates will be able to apply for the examination from the third week of January 2018 after registering themselves for the exam on the official website. According to the notification, Aadhaar number will be required during the registration process. However, candidates are advised to check the official website regarding the Aadhaar requirement.
The candidates who clear the examination will be eligible for admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharm, MBA, MCA and some other streams courses. Candidates can visit the official website to read the notification for further details.
According to the reports, the UPSEE 2017 had a total of 150 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and the time available to the candidates to complete the paper was three hours. It has also been reported that almost over three lakh candidates participated in the 2017 examinations.
