New Delhi, Dec 9: Hours after his resignation from Lok Sabha, Bharatiya Janata Party MP Nanabhau Patole on Friday said he will go to the people in Gujarat and inform them how the Other Backward Castes (OBC) were ignored during the regime of the saffron party in the state. “I will go to Gujarat and tell people how the BJP ignored issues of backward communities I raised. Yet, it is using Mani Shankar Aiyar’s one word (neech) to show that it cares for the backwards,” Patole told TOI.
Patole’s comments come as the second blow to the ruling party after he alleged the Centre of ignoring the issues of agrarian distress raised by him at various platforms. His campaign is likely to hit the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in view of the recent protests over a list of issues by the OBC community in Gujarat.
