New Delhi, Nov 30: Prime Minister Narendra On Thursday said he is committing to bring corruption-free development system in the country. In his inaugural address at Hindustan Times Leadership Summit on ‘The Irreversible Rise of India’, PM Modi said in 2014 people did not only vote to change a government but to change the country and bring stable, permanent, irreversible changes in the system.
“Corruption-free and a citizen-friendly system is our priority,” said PM Narendra Modi. Referring to Jan Dhan Yojna, PM Modi said how opening bank accounts empowered the poor citizen. The LED bulb scheme has helped the medium income families to save up to Rs 14,000 crore, he pointed out. “It may or may not get noticed, but I am doing it out of conviction. I cannot live without it,” the Prime Minister said.
