Sunil Dabas has been the coach of national female kabaddi team since 2005. Under her, the team has won seven gold medals in international championships. She was awarded the Dronacharya Award in 2012, and Padma Shri in 2014 by Government of India. In 2014, Government of Haryana felicitated her by Sports Women Achiever Award
She was honored with INDIAN WOMEN ACHIEVERS AWARD by the President of India on January 20, 2018 at New Delhi
