The Central Government has informed that filling of vacancies in the Supreme Court and High Courts is a continuous process. While every efforts is made to fill up the existing vacancies expeditiously, vacancies keep on arising on account of retirement , resignation or elevation of judges. Hence, the time frame for filling up of the vacancies can not be indicated.

One person, Aslu registered a complaint on July 26 that his goat was gang-raped on the night of July 25 by Savakar, Haroon, Jaffar and five others whose identities are yet to be ascertained: Nagina police station in charge (SI) Rajbir Singh.
Lucknow: In a brutal attack on dissent, the Uttar Pradesh allegedly manhandled two female students for waving black flags during BJP President Amit Shah’s rally in Allahabad. The video of the police assaulting girl students went viral on social media and the act has also invited severe criticism from the opposition.
The girl students raised ‘Amit Shah go away’ slogans and even tried to obstruct a police vehicle. The video shows male police officers thrashing them. The absence of women police officers to handle the situation has come under criticism from all quarters.
The video shows a police inspector dragging a woman by her waist, while thrashing another with a stick. In this melee a male student was beaten up by the police in this process. Later, the three students who were protesting were taken away by police. Within minutes after these incidents, Amit Shah’s convoy passed through the same place.
The entire video has gone viral with many questioning the high-handed behaviour of the UP police.
Mumbai: Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar announced he will announce the leading lady for his upcoming directorial “Bharat” soon.
“Yes yes yes… We will announce the leading lady of ‘Bharat’ soon. We have been shooting non-stop and simultaneously preparing for international schedules,” Zafar tweeted on Saturday.
The first schedule included shooting for a grand circus sequence.
The director previously worked with the “Dabangg” star in blockbusters like “Sultan” and “Tiger Zinda Hai”
The film is an official adaptation of a 2014 South Korean film “Ode To My Father”. It is produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.
“Bharat”, which will be shot across locations in Abu Dhabi and Spain, besides Punjab and Delhi, is slated for an Eid release in 2019. (IANS)
