Mumbai, Nov 15: An alleged sex racket was busted in Kurla’s Nehru Nagar area on Tuesday. Police rescued three women and arrested two agents for allegedly running the sex racket, reported news agency ANI. A case has been registered at Nehru Nagar police station. Further details are awaited.
In August, anti-human trafficking cell of Thane police busted a sex racket and arrested six persons from a hotel in Kalyan. Four women were rescued from the hotel, out of them one was from Bangladesh. The hotel was reportedly owned by Ranjana Patil, wife of BJP corporator Nitin Patil.
