CBSE Will Now Allow Failed Class 10, 12 Candidates to Appear as Regular Students in Board Exams

New Delhi, Oct 26: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will now allow the students from last academic year, who have failed class 10 or 12, to appear as regular students in the upcoming board exams. The board has also allowed the students seeking improvement to use the facility. It also said that the decision to register the students will completely depend upon the school or trust rules.

“Those candidates who have passed/failed in class X/XII in 2017 Examination can also seek fresh admission as regular candidate in a CBSE affiliated school and appear in X/XII Examination 2018 for improvement ( for pass out candidates) /passing( for failed candidates),” said a notification by CBSE.

.”It is clarified that CBSE is examining body and Admission in the school will be decided by the school as per their own rules governing the school/trust,” it added.

The board has recently started online submission of List of Candidates for class 10 and 12.
