Mumbai, July 9: Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio’s ‘Summer Surprise’ offer and Dhan Dhana Dhan offer is soon going to expire. The Summer Surprise offer that was launched in March was a special surprise offer only for our Jio Prime members. Every Jio Prime member, when they made their first paid recharge using Jio’s Rs 303 plan (or any higher value plan), gets services for the initial 3 months on a complimentary basis. The new entrant Jio however, replaced the Summer Surprise offer with the ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan’ offer with different conditions after the Telecom regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) ordered them to withdraw the Summer Special offer.
Jio on its website had mentioned that the paid tariff plan for its Summer Surprise offer will be applied only in July, after the expiry of the complimentary service. It had also said that the Jio Summer surprise offer will end after 3 months post-expiry of recharge extension period. The recharge extension period ends on 15th April 2017. A customer should keep in mind that, if you had opted for either Jio’s ‘Summer Surprise’ offer or the Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, your validity is set to expire soon in a week or less.
How to check the validity of the Summer Surprise offer?
Jio had released the ‘Summer Surprise’ offer in April which gave three months of free service.To check your validity, a customer will have to sign in to his/her MyJio app from their Jio mobile number. The user will be able to see your current offer. If you made the Rs 303 recharge in April, your offer might be about to expire.
What if the offer has expired?
Once the offer is expired, a user will have to start regular recharges per month to keep using the 1GB of 4G data per day. The validity of this recharge will be 28 days and not 84 days as applicable for the subscribers of the ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan’ offer. Dhan Dhana Dhan service cannot be availed by Summer Surprise subscribers as it is now a paid offer.
When does Dhan Dhana Dhan offer end?
Users who have recharged for Jio Dhan Dhan Dhan offer will also have to keep checking when their 84 days validity is coming to an end. But users can breathe a sigh of relief to as Jio users who have opted for its ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan’ offer need not worry as there is still time left for the plan to expire. It has to be noted that if you have done the recharge in April, you should check if the 84-day period is coming to an end. Reliance Jio’s prepaid plans range from Rs 19 valid for one day to Rs 9999 valid for 420 days.
- First, you will need to install the My Jio app from the Play Store
- Once the download is done, go to the “Menu” tab in MyJio app.
- Click on ‘My Plans’. Here you will be able to see your currently availed recharge plan.
- You can check when you made the recharge and its consecutive expiry date
- Choose from new plans and recharge with any plan available
