DU Admissions 2017 First cut off tomorrow: Anxious students seek help from education counsellors
New Delhi, June 22: Delhi University is going to announce the first cut-off list for admissions tomorrow, i.e. June 23. Earlier, DU was to release the first cut-off on June 20 but the date got deferred by 3 days. The dates of 5 cut-offs have been announced on the official website du.ac.in. The admissions for Delhi University will begin a day after the announcement of the first cut off, i.e. from June 24. A press release from Delhi University stated that, “After approval of admissions, the applicant has to log on to undergraduate admission portal to make online admission fee payment which can be done till noon of the next day of the given admission list deadline.”
Students willing to seek admission to Delhi University are anxious over the choice of colleges and courses and are seeking help from the counsellors. Students and their parents are anxious as the first cut-off list of St. Stephens college has already been announced and it recorded the highest cut-off for English (honours) and economics (honours) at 98.5 per cent for commerce students. Seeing the cut-off trends, many students are worried on whether they would be able to make it to the first cut-off list of Delhi University or not.
First Admission list will be released on June 23 followed by Second Admission List and Third Admission List on July 1 and July 7 respectively. The Fourth Admission list and Fifth Admission list will be released on July 13 and July 18 respectively.
