In continuation to our initiatives, the University wishes to be a part of the biggest vaccination drive (for coivd) in the world and therefore offer services of our staff members & the campus site for the same. The university has a vast majority of people in the age group of 50 years and under who could assist the District Administration in increasing the number of vaccination sites in Gurugram. Thereby speeding the vaccination process. We also have two medical Officers who can assist in the process. If we see in the larger context it will take very long to immunize the target population of the Gurugram, unless we increase the number of vaccination centers in the district.
We, therefore, feel that a bottom-up approach by involving a large number of stakeholders can help the District Heath Department to cover the eligible population location in Gurugram in a shorter time frame. In light of same, NCU has proposed to establish a Vaccine Center in the second phase as per the Government norms to serve the Larger Community of Gurugram.
