AAP crisis : ‘Why so silent?’ Kapil Mishra asks Kejriwal; Gopal Rai tells EC to set EVM hackathon date

Delhi witnesses another politically charged day with more action on the two issues that have shaken the Capital over the week: corruption allegations against AAP brass by rebel leader Kapil Mishra and AAP’s claims of EVM ‘tampering’.

Sacked AAP minister Kapil Mishra, who has accused Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and minister Satyendar Jain of corrupt practices, approached the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) with “more details in the Water Tanker scam”. Mishra had alleged that Kejriwal had taken Rs 2 crore cash from cabinet colleague Satyendar Jain and that Jain had helped a relative of the CM in reaching land deals.

The AAP, meanwhile, pushed its line on the EVMs by holding a protest at the Election Commission office and demanding that ‘doubt’ over reliability of the EVMs must be addressed by forming an all-party panel.
