Dr G Vishwanathan,Chancellor,VIT University,Vellore is leading EPSI for last ten years as its President. He has been youngest Lok Sabha member in 1967, MLA and Minister in Tamilnadu. He has been a globe trotter and tried his best to market the brand of Indian Higher Education.He has recently set up two universities at Amaravati,AP and Bhopal,MP.
He has recently completed 80 years of his active life. His 80 th Anniversary has been celebrated in India and abroad with fanfare. Today,alumni of VIT,Vellore assembled at New Delhi to celebrate his 80th birthday.
In EPSI, we have closely worked with him for last ten years and seen him working tirelessly for the causes of Indian Higher Education.Office bearers of EPSI and two MP friends of Dr Vishwanathan joined the celebrations and felicitated him. Mr Thiruchi Shiva and Mr Rajagopalan are Rajya Sabha members from TN and belong to DMK and CPM.Both of them ,while speaking about Dr Vishwanathan ,were full of praise for his exemplary leadership and entrepreneurship.
