CITIZEN INITIATIVE TO SAVE TREES GETS SUPPORT OF CYCLIST COMMUNITY
Noida : Save tree campaign gets another momentum and received the support from delhi ncr cycle groups.
On Sunday 1st July 2018, To participate in protest Dare2Gear, Cycloholics and GNCC will start the ride from Noida and Greater Noida and will reach at Sarojini Nagar Near Police Station at 6 O’Clock morning.
Many citizen movements are happening to protest this heinous crime against nature and us cyclists must do our bit. This is the time when all of us must unite and do everything in our capacity to stop this from happening said by Preeti Chaudhary of Cycloholics.
On one side, climate change is becoming a bitter reality with every passing day, on the other side more the 16500 trees are going to be cut in South Delhi for making government accommodations. This is especially shocking since Delhi has been suffering from air pollution every now and then in past few months said by Manoj Singh, founder president of Anahita Foundation and organiser of this protest ride.
