Another Case Of Minor Girl’s Rape In Delhi

A horrible incident happened again in Delhi’s Aman Vihar.A seven year old girl was raped by a juvenile. The accused is a 16 year old boy who lives in the same locality in which the girl lives.Police said that "the accused boy took the victim girl in an isolated area on the pretext of buying chocolates and raped her".
"Parents of the victim who are daily labourers are absent at that time. The boy took advantage of that and lured the girl and raped her.
When the parents came back and saw their daughter bleeding they rushed her to a nearby hospital, and later came to know about the incident.and filed a case of rape against the accused".
Police officials are doing efforts to catch the accused,he added.

Smt Maneka Sanjay Gandhi and Boxing Star Mary Kom flag off the 2nd Edition of HAUSLA Sports Meet in New Delhi, today

Smt Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, Union Minister for Ministry of Women and Child Development flagged off the HAUSLA-2018 Sports Meet in the presence of Ms. Mary Kom, Indian Olympic Boxer & Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi today. Secretary WCD, Shri Rakesh Srivastava and other officials of WCD ministry were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the participants, Smt Maneka Sanjay Gandhi said that she appreciated the presence of Mary Kom- a national treasure- to be there to inspire and motivate the children from CCIs to aim higher like her in their lives. Talking about the safe neighborhood campaign of the ministry, she said its very important that all the parents, teachers and guardians should know that the government has provided platforms like ChildLine, e-Box for raising their grievance of any kind pertaining to child sexual abuse and harassment.

Delivering the welcome address, Secretary, Shri Rakesh Srivastava said that he has requested sports authorities to be present at the sports meet so that they can witness the sporting talent of children from CCIs and if possible provide them a higher platform to perform better.

The sports meet is part of HAUSLA- 2018-the inter-Child Care Institution festival, which is witnessing participation of more than 600 Children drawn from CCIs from 16 states in the various events like painting competition, athletics meet, football, chess competition and speech writing as part of the Festival. Athletics Meet, Chess Competition and Football Matches for boys and girls from CCIs are being held on  28-29 November 2018  at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.


A.M. Naik appointed as Chairman of National Skill Development Corporation

Shri A.M. Naik has been appointed as Chairman of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Currently Shri Naik is the Group Chairman of India’s biggest engineering and construction conglomerate – Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T). He is one of the most respected management professionals in the country. His years of successful stewardship have resulted in building L&T as one of the strongest global businesses.

Making the announcement, the Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas & Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Shri Dharmendra Pradhan said that Shri Naik epitomizes core values of a successful leader – strength, innovation, ingenuity, knowledge and foresight – values that are imperative to the success of any development initiative in today’s economy. His standing in the community of industrial leaders will strongly enhance the industry connect. His vast experience will take NSDC to greater heights. Shri Pradhan said “I am confident that this organization under his leadership, apart from its engagement in executing skilling modules, should also be a think tank providing direction and necessary guidance for creating a demand based skilling ecosystem in the country.”

Commenting on his appointment, Mr. A.M. Naik said, “NSDC has developed a unique model combining skill development with strong industry partnerships. I am pleased at this opportunity to contribute towards our common vision of a high skill, high value added economy that offers opportunity to all.”

The appointment of Mr. Naik as Chairman of NSDC underscores the importance attached by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi to skill development. As the Prime Minister has repeatedly stressed ‘skilling brings a sense of self confidence to the poor. Matching job creation with industry demand is the key to end unemployment. It is envisaged that in the future, India will be the biggest supplier of workforce to the world.’

Shri Naik was awarded the Padma Bhushan, India’s 3rd highest civilian award in 2009 for his outstanding contribution to the economic growth of the country.

NSDC is a unique public-private-partnership, working under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. NSDC aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions. The organisation provides funding to build scalable and profitable vocational training initiatives. It also develops appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives. NSDC supports short-term skill training through a wide network of training providers and district nodal skill centres called Pradhan MantriKaushal Kendra (PMKK). Besides, the organisation is involved in re-skilling and also in catering to the skilled manpower requirement of overseas markets, most notably that of Japan (under TITP) and UAE.



Shri Manoj Sinha Flags off Buxar-Varanasi MEMU

This train will provide additional end-to-end connectivity between Buxar and Varanasi

Minister of State of Railways and Minister of State (I/C) of Communications, Shri Manoj Sinha flagged off one pair of 63229/63230 Buxar-Varanasi MEMU.  This train will provide additional end to end connectivity between Buxar and Varanasi.

Minister of State of Health and Family Welfare, Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Member Traffic, Railway Board, Shri Girish Pillai, Member Rolling Stock, Railway Board, Shri Rajesh Agrawal with other Railway Board Members, Senior Officials of Railways and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion Shri Manoj Sinha congratulated the people of Buxar for this new MEMU train.  He said “this 16 coach MEMU train has the capacity to carry around 1500 people.  This new train would facilitate travel of people of Buxar to Kashi.”  He also added that lot of infrastructure development projects have been initiated at Buxar. He also highlighted the historic transformation currently underway in Indian Railways.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey said “Today it is moment of joy for the people of Buxar as this direct train will be helpful for travelling to Kashi.  It is important to mention that lot of development works have been carried out in Buxar during this Government. Four ROBs in Buxar have been sanctioned by Ministry of Railways.”  He also thanked Shri Piyush Goyal and Shri Manoj Sinha and congratulated Ministry of Railways’ officials for introducing this MEMU train.

2,05,442 houses sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana(Urban) in the 40th CSMC

Maharashtra gets 1,16,042 Houses, Karnataka– 31,657, Bihar-26,880, Tamil Nadu – 15,529 and Jammu & Kashmir – 15,334

The cumulative number of houses sanctioned under PMAY(U) now is 65,04,037. The Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs has approved the construction of another 2,05,442 more affordable houses for the benefit of urban poor under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). The approval was given in the 40th meeting of the Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee held here today.

Maharashtra has been sanctioned 1,16,042 houses while the sanction for Karnataka is 31,657 affordable houses.  The number of houses sanctioned for Bihar is 26,880, while Tamil Nadu has been sanctioned 15,529 houses and Jammu & Kashmir 15,334 houses.

A total of 392 projects with a project cost of Rs 7,391 crore with central assistance of Rs 3,082 crore has been approved in the meeting held under the Chairmanship of Sh Durga Shankar Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

The approvals under the Beneficiary led construction(BLC) vertical is 85,227 while it is 1,20,215 under Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP)vertical.


Delhi proposes to charge extra fee for non-electric vehicles

Delhi government on Tuesday released its draft "Electric Vehicle Policy 2018" which targets adoption of 25% e-vehicles among new registrations by 2023. The proposal offers waiver of all taxes and fees for all e-vehicles with a subsidy of up to ₹22,000 on purchase of e-two-wheelers. The subsidy would be paid by imposing additional fees on non-electric vehicles, the draft added.

How to make Garlic and Egg Fried Rice

Ingredients Of Garlic And Egg Fried Rice

  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Ginger, chopped
  • 6-7 cloves garlic, mashed
  • 1 Red chilli, chopped
  • 2 Cups Rice, steamed
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Soya sauce
  • 1 tsp Coriander, chopped
  • 2 tsp Spring onion, chopped

How to Make Garlic and Egg Fried Rice
1. Heat oil in a pan on medium flame and add the chopped garlic to it. Cook until lightly golden.

2. Now add a teaspoon of spring onion, ginger and red chilli. Saute for a minute.

3. Break an egg in the pan. Mix and cook until scrambled.

4. Then pour the steamed rice and combine well with the ingredients with light hands.

5. Add salt and black pepper powder and mix thoroughly pouring soya sauce over the rice.

6. Again add a teaspoon of spring onion to the rice and stir fry for a minute.

7. Transfer the hot and delicious fried rice in a bowl and serve hot garnished with spring onions and some coriander leaves.
