#Mumbai Records 210 mm Rainfall in 24 Hours, Warnings Continue, Says IMD

 

Mumbai, Sep 20: Mumbai city recorded 210 mm of rainfall in last 24 hours, that started on Tuesday afternoon, lashing many parts of the city. The MeT department said that the suburb recorded 303 mm and Dahanu near Mumbai recorded 304 mm of rainfall till 8:30 AM on Wednesday morning. Although the situation in Mumbai is improving following the incessant rainfall, the MeT department hasn’t discontinued the warnings. Click here for live updates.

IMD’s Santacruz observatory recorded 225.3 mm of rainfall from 8.30 AM to 11.30 PM on Tuesday. Nariman Point recorded a rainfall of 88 mm. The rainfall in other parts of the city, recorded at BMC’s automatic weather stations, was 110 mm rain in Worli, Chembur – 112 mm, Mulund – 94 mm, Andheri – 208 mm, Bandra – 128 mm and Borivali – 204 mm.
