New Delhi, July 27: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday hit out at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and said the planning to break the Grand Alliance was going on for last three-four months. Nitish broke away from the alliance and joined hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party to form the National Democratic Alliance-Janata Dal United government in Bihar.
Calling Nitish ‘selfish’, Gandhi said, “Mujhe maloom pad gaya tha ki Nitish ji ne yeh planning ki hai. Mai sach batao toh 3-4 mahine se pata tha ki yeh planning chal rahi hai. Hindustan ki rajneeti mei yahi problem hai – apne swaarth ke liye vyakti kuch bhi kar jata hai. Koi neeyam nai hai, koi credibility nahin hai, satte ke liye kuch bhi kar dete hai. (I have known for last three-four months that this planning was going on. In Indian politics, a person can do anything for his gains. There is no rule, no credibility).”
