Ashish Sharma, President of Indian Expatriates Association (IEAM) Medan along with her wife released a motivational documentary made by them on the occasion of Ashish Sharma’s birthday titled “If They CAN – WHY Can’t WE”. The Documentary is a return gift for the Harapan Jaya Rehabilitation Centre, Siantar, North Sumatra, Indonesia that is supposed to motivate & stimulate the thoughts of people, as per their makers.
This rehabilitation centre was founded in 1981 by Sr. Jeannette van Paassen FCJM, in Pematangsiantar in North Sumatra. Since 2008, the objective has been broadened and other Indonesian organizations providing assistance to physically disabled people have also come in support.
Ashish Sharma presented thanks to Consul General of India In Medan Raghu Gururaj, Sister Alice Wijaya, Sister Leoni, Dr. John Limskie, Suresh Choudhary, Vijay Agarwal, Winny, Mina Liongo, Elly Tioe & all members of Indian Expatriates Association Medan (IEAM) & Dr’s Koffie Foundation, who contributed for charity & video making.
