The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Anil Kumar Jain, IAS (MP:86), Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change as Secretary, Ministry of Coal vice Shri Sumanta Chaudhuri, IAS (WS:85).
