A lady doctor who was allegedly videographed while she was having her shower in a hotel’s bathroom, filed a complaint against the hotel.
The doctor alleged that someone at the hotel in Delhi’s Mahipalpur where she checked in with her male friend shot a video while she was in her shower.
The complainant, in her early 20s, stated in the FIR that shortly after noon, she heard a noise similar to that of someone knocking on the door and felt that something was wrong. She called out to her friend to check and he did confirm that it was a phone in the exhaust held by someone from outside.
The lady doctor added that she checked with a couple in the next room because the exhaust window of theirs was connected to the other room. She thought that the man in the neighbouring room was acting strange, but the hotel manager who intervened asked for his phone. However, her friend could not find anything on his phone according to her.
Police who registered an FIR under Section 354 (outraging the modesty of a woman) are probing the case. The doctor feels that the footage may have been deleted when the man in the neighbouring room was confronted by them.
