Stung by defeats in Punjab and Goa, AAP decides not to target Narendra Modi in MCD elections 2017

New Delhi, Apr 15: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal is known as a fierce critic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ahead of the MCD elections 2017, the AAP has decided to change its strategy of targeting PM Modi in its campaign. The Arvind Kejriwal led party has decided that they will focus on "positive campaign" in the crucial MCD elections and stay away from PM Modi. The change in AAP strategy came after the party showed poor performances in Goa and Punjab Assembly elections and defeat in Rajouri Garden bypolls.
