Noida, Dec 28 A 22-year-old woman was allegedly raped repeatedly by a man on the pretext of getting her a job in a factory here, an official said today.
The woman, a resident of Sector 71, Noida, was allegedly raped several times in a last few months by the 35-year-old man, said Jitendra Kumar, station house officer (SHO), phase-3 police station, Noida.
The man raped the victim on the pretext of giving her a job in a factory in Sector 63, Kumar said.
The accused allegedly threatened her not to report the matter to police, he said.
An FIR was registered against the accused, who is absconding, the official said.
The woman was also sent for medical examination.
