New Delhi, Sept 23: Rains continue to lash New Delhi on the second consecutive day on Saturday. As predicted by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi-NCR is expected to receive more rains for the next two days. Delhiites got some respite from the heat and humidity as rain drenched the National Capital Region on Friday however, traffic snarls and waterlogging turned distressing for commuters.
on Friday, mile-long traffic jam was reported at ITO from afternoon till evening. Besides this, the Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg and the area around the India Gate were also affected. People faced problems in commuting to the Chandni Chowk, the Red Fort and Old Delhi Railway Station areas.
