Port Blair, September 19: The results of 1st MBBS final examination which was held in July 2017 by the Pondicherry University has been delayed. According to a report, the delay is from the University’s end due to problems in registration of management seats of private medical colleges in Puducherry for the academic year of 2016-2017.
According to a letter by the University dated July 12, 2017, results of the examination of those candidates admitted to MBBS under the management quota will not be published until further orders are received from the Chennai High Court.
Reports claimed that Andaman and Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS) is in touch with Pondicherry University and the results are likely to be declared within a week.
