New Delhi (16/06/2023): An astute banker always thinks beyond banking, with a true concern for society. ESAF, being primarily a banker, practising inclusivity and social upliftment always chips in when an occasion arises to touch the life of an ordinary person.
Yes..This is amply demonstrated by our Chandrapur Cluster Head Sri Lankesh Borikar recently.
How….? It goes like this..!!
Mr Rajendra Durgam, a small-town boy hailing from Tekada, a quiet Village in Gadchiroli district, and belonging to a family of very modest background, has cleared NEET Exam, nurturing aspirations to do MBBS. He has nurtured the fire in him to become a medical professional and pursued his studies to clear the NEET. His village is 50km from Sironcha situated in the Naxlite area. He is the first one from Sironcha to crack the NEET exam. Sri Lankesh Borikar visited him at his house and gave him accolades from ESAF Bank with a token of appreciation and a cake cutting. He made solemn assurances to him to extend all help and assistance from Esaf Bank if required in the near future. Moved by the gesture, his family and Village members expressed gratitude and appreciation to our bank for the thoughtful felicitation and assurances.
My choicest adulations to the imaginative Sri Borikar over his great social gesture, setting an example to all.
No doubt, this kind of proactive gesture would earn us a lot of goodwill from the stakeholders, winning their hearts. It also aids good word-of-mouth publicity to the bank as a socially relevant banker.
Let the tribe grow everywhere in the bank.!
