New Delhi, May 14, 2023: Revolutionaries of 1857, who sacrificed for the freedom of the country and freedom fighters of Azad Hind Fauj were honored with Kranti Chakra by Gurjar Art and Culture Trust on May 14 at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Delhi. various programs were organized on this occasion also. Secretary and Spokesperson of Gurjar Art and Culture Trust, Romi Bhati said that we have identified 800 such martyrs who took part in 1857 revolution and other freedom struggle but were forgotten, out of which 350 freedom fighter’s families have been given Kranti Chakra Samman by the trust today.. Families of freedom fighters who were honored with Kranti Chakra received their Awards. Families of anonymous immortal martyrs had arrived from different places of the country including Greater Noida, Delhi, Faridabad to receive respect.
Chief Guest Rajkumar Anand, Union Minister of Delhi Government, South Delhi MP Ramesh Vidhudi, Nawab Singh Nagar, Former Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government and Rajkumar Bhati, former minister were present on this occasion.
On behalf of the Gurjar Art and Cultural Trust, Trust Secretary and Spokesperson Romi Bhati and Chairman Diwakar Bidhuri urged Delhi Government Minister Rajkumar Anand to establish Gurjari Language Academy for the promotion of Gurjar art and culture. We demand from the government that the anonymous martyrs should get all the facilities that a freedom fighter should get. Minister Rajkumar Anand assured that I will talk to my Delhi government for Gujjar language academy
