New Delhi, August 29: Reliance Jio, after months of planning and infrastructural set-up might be finally ready to foray into the broadband internet market and soon start its services in Delhi and the National Capital Region. According to a report, Jio has issued a note announcing that they will put up the necessary infrastructure for ultra high-speed internet services in a few residential societies. The note, although not yet officially verified, claims that the task of laying optic fiber cables should be completed within two weeks on their part, after which the subscribers can enjoy ultra-high speed broadband services.
As per Telecomtalk.info, Reliance Jio, as speculated by many, will debut their broadband services in Delhi-NCR with their disruptive business model and it will most likely include a ‘Preview offer’. Similar to its 4G services, Jio Broadband is expected to offer ultra speed with a larger data cap and that too at a lower cost. The note making rounds in social media, in which Jio’s debut in Delhi-NCR residential societies was announced, claims that the preview offer includes free services for three months.
The various provisions available for the subscribers under the preview offer was explained in the note that was shared in Twitter.
