New Delhi (07/03/2023): Meenakahi Lekhi Union MoS for External Affairs and culture , hosted cultural and Holi Bonaza to Diplomats and Dignitaries from New Delhi. The event was organised at the lawns in Police Services Officers Institute Lawns on Monday 6th March 2023.
Meenakahi Lekhi while talking to TEN NEWS said She is Happy to host Holi Mahotsav 2023 for the residents and Karyakartas of my Lok Sabha Constituency in New Delhi.
It was a pleasant sunny afternoon even if unusually warm for March and particularly the festival of Holi when it is traditionally chillier. Uniformed Waiters served jaljeera and chaat while dignitaries in off-white relaxed and enjoyed the sun, and the cultural program. The guests were mostly foreign diplomats, many adorned in Indian clothes. It seemed like a faint evocation of Lutyens Delhi in the days of anti Lutyens India. The event was “Holi Mahotsav 2023” hosted by , Meenakashi Lekhi, who played the role with aplomb. She greeted acquaintances, put tika herself graciously and posed for photos.
Overall indeed it was a pleasant event showcasing India’s ranjan ch cultural heritage to the world. What better day than the occasion of Holi – the festival of colours, signifying love and brotherhood, to do so.
