New Delhi, 18 June 2022: The All India Mobile Retailers Association organised a nationwide blood donation drive with more than 250 donation camps on June 17 to pay a tribute to Late Bhavesh Solanki, the National General Manager.
The AIMRA had conducted the drive in association with several licensed blood banks including Lions Club, Rotary, Indian Red Cross Society, Private, Government hospitals & NGOs. More than 20,000 blood pints were donated at these camps which is double last year’s blood pint collection in a single day.
Kailash Lakhyani, AIMRA’s Chairman expressed his gratitude to all the celebrities and dignitaries who helped in spreading awareness of the initiative via video bytes, including film and TV celebrities, politicians, and sportspersons, brand CEOs, bureaucrats, and so on.
It was a collective effort of the AIMRA where the Chairman Kailash Lakhyani, National President Shri Arvinder Khurana, Senior Vice President Shri Vibhooti Prasad, and Joint General Secretary Shri Navneet Pathak participated enthusiastically. They also announced that this blood donation drive will be organised every year on June 17 with a view to saving lives and working towards social welfare.
