CAT 2017 Online Applications to begin from August: Check tentative schedule and date for largest MBA Entrance Examination
CAT 2017 Online Applications procedure will commence from August at the official website. The aspirants are required to note that they would need to check the tentative schedule and date for largest MBA Entrance Examination. The CAT 2017 question paper had three sections – Verbal and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. It is expected that CAT 2017 willl have same number of sections in the question paper. This year the CAT 2017 exam will be conducted by the IIM Lucknow. CAT exam is written by approximately 2.50 lakh students.
CAT is a computer based test conducted by the IIMs every year as a qualifier for admission to the top MBA programs. After clearing the CAT 2017, the management aspirants qualifier for admissions to 19 IIMs along with 150 other MBA institutes in the country. For appearing for the CAT exam 2017 the aspirants will need to go through the CAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria. The aspirants who apply for CAT 2017 exam need to have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. The minimum percentage required for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) category is 45% or equivalent CGPA.
