New Delhi (13/02/2022): The Aam Aadmi Party has won over the hearts of the people of Punjab and has emerged as the favourite to win the coming polls. AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal today revealed how AAP has made huge inroads in the state and is destined to win the elections. He stated — Punjab CM Channi facing terrible defeat on both the seats he’s contesting on. Doesn’t matter if he’s the Congress CM face; you can’t possibly become a CM if people aren’t ready to vote for you. Huge wave of anger against Charanjit Channi in Chamkaur Sahib and Bhadaur. AAP’s surveys have revealed shocking results from the ground. AAP is at 52% in Chamkaur Sahib whereas incumbent MLA & CM Channi is at 35%. AAP is at 48% in Bhadaur while Charanjit Channi is at 30%. Public says that the sand mafia is thriving under the patronage of Channi Sahib and he doesn’t care about development. Congress has become a huge circus; all leaders are busy monkey-balancing; they can’t run their party, leave alone the Punjab Government. AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal addressed a crucial press conference in Amritsar today. Joined by AAP MP & CM Candidate Sardar Bhagwant Mann, he revealed the results of AAP’s on ground surveys. Kejriwal said, “Congress has become a complete circus. We’ve all seen them here for the 4.5 year long government and the 111 days long one too. All they’ve done is fight with each other. How will they run the government when they can’t run their own party? On the other hand, AAP has prepared a robust agenda for Punjab and is only talking about the development of the state.”
He added, “I am going to make the most important statement of this election season. CM Channi is contesting from two seats. Chamkaur Sahib and Bhadaur. We have conducted surveys at least 3 times on both the seats because of the shocking results they give out. Congress’s CM and CM Candidate for the election, Charanjit Channi is losing both of his seats. It won’t be an ordinary loss, he faces a very terrible defeat. In Chamkaur Sahib, AAP is at 52% CM Channi is at 35%. In Bhadaur, we are at 48%, he is at 30%. How will he become the CM when the people aren’t ready to vote him into power?”
He continued, “The public is very anguished because of him. They are very angry because of him. Especially in Chamkaur Sahib, he has been the MLA of that seat since 2007 but the people are not ready to vote for him. They say that the sand mafia works under his patronage. This is one of the many reasons why he’ll lose both of his seats. The Congress too is going to see the same fate.”
