Apple has released the first public beta for macOS High Sierra after announcing the latest macOS iteration at the May developer event. The first beta version is available for download to all users who have or will enroll themselves to the beta program. To test the beta version of macOS High Sierra, users don’t necessarily need to be a registered developer, and non-developers can get their hands on the latest macOS as well.
Apple has already released two beta versions of macOS High Sierra for developers. So, this means the first public beta version of the macOS will be a bit refined for non-developer users. Apple macOS users can download the software update from System update controls after they sign up for Apple Beta Program.
In order to enroll into Apple’s beta testing program, log on to the beta testing website, beta.apple.com. Once signed up, download the software update from the system setting menu. At this point, users need to ensure that they have a created a complete backup of the system before installing macOS High Sierra. Upgrading a system to the beta version is always tricky because betas are often unstable and carry bugs. It is advisable macOS beta shall be avoided from installing it on your primary machine, as it can make the system vulnerable to glitches and other erratic system behavior.
