Saga of composed grievously injured Delhi Police jawan – Constable Ajeet, while controlling unruly riotous mob of farmers in Delhi yesterday .
Touched and felt proud to hear, when I visited him in his type one qtr at Model Town police colony, North Delhi, when he murmured to me with great difficulty as his eardrum and cartilage have been badly damaged .
" Sir, I maintained cool inspite of being in unbearable provocation. "
I remained numb … only hold his weak hands and reassured him that, all officers and jawans of Delhi Police are proud of your examplary conduct in the midst of life threatening assaults. We could also retaliate by breaking the skulls of those attackers. But, cool and compose response inspite of being badly injured , constable Ajeet had shown finest example of ideal police man, whose calmness and forbearance saved further aggravation of lawlessness.
Proud of my jawan constable Ajeet for his sagacity and fortitude.
Rewarding him my highest Award for this role model Delhi Police jawan.
