BNHS CEC Mumbai offers free assistance to schools in teaching Environmental Science to students via webinars
The *Bombay Natural History Society’s* Conservation Education Centre (CEC), Mumbai has planned to assist schools in teaching Environmental Science with the help of trained Education Officers through webinars. The CEC is based in Goregaon (East) near Film City and is devoted to created environmental awareness and imparting environmental awareness among the students and general public. These webinars will be conducted free of cost for teachers as well as students.
At present CEC is planning to assist schools in the Mumbai, Thane, Raigad and Palghar districts, which are willing to take help from us. Lectures will be organized for aided as well as unaided schools teaching both NCERT (English) and Balbharti (Maharashtra State Board) syllabus schools (in English and Marathi). CEC Education Officers will take classes via webinars which the students can attend using any smartphone or desktop computer or Laptops. Every lecture will be organized with help from school heads and school teachers.
*How to take benefit of this offer:*
The concerned Teacher / Head Master/ Principal of the school need to send an email to CEC / fill in the Google Form, Mumbai that they are willing to organize such webinars and BNHS support is welcome. They need to provide contact details for reverting back.
*What will CEC offer:*
CEC will send you a list of topics/ chapters from standard 5th to 9th and topics on which our Education Officers can deliver talks. The talks will be made interesting and illustrated using multimedia (photos, audios and videos).
