CII has since its inception continued to make concrete contributions to developing the capacities of sustainable development around the world, stated Member of Parliament, Meenakshi Lekhi in a conference on "Sustainable development and Health challenges in India" in New Delhi on Wednesday.
CII offer a new opportunity for India through this conference to align its development goals with the agenda, prioritize development in the country, focus attention on addressing extreme poverty and environmental challenges, and form new partnerships for development, she added.
