Car manufacturer Hyundai has launched its 1.6-liter U2 CRDi diesel engine in the Hyundai Creta range in the E+ and EX variants. It also comes equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The S trim does not get an automatic option anymore and only gets the 1.4-liter diesel engine that has a 6-speed manual gearbox. The car has a 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that churns out 126 bhp at 4,000 rpm and gives out a peak torque of 260 Nm at 1500-3000 pm. It gets basic features like black/silver grille, door handles that are body-colored, ORVMs, steel wheels, bumper that is dual-toned and silver skid plates. There are also features like electrically adjustable ORVMs that have LED turn signals, headlamps that are follow-me-home, air conditioning, driver seat that is height-adjustable and front center armrest. Additional features include electric tailgate release, rear AC vents and a tilt function for the steering. The safety features are dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, IRVMs that work both day and night, seat belt reminder with front seatbelt pre-tensioners and a high-speed alert.
