Indian Railways has announced special trains to address the increased passenger traffic during the forthcoming Dasara and Diwali festivals. South Central Railway CPRO CH Rakesh said that they have arranged several special trains to meet the heavy rush of passengers and they will be operated on various routes.
Hyderabad-Kochuveli (07115/07116) will leave Nampally at 9 pm on October 5, 12, 19 and 26 and will reach Kochuveli at 3.20 am on the 2nd day. It will leave Kochuveli at 7.45 am on October 7, 14, 21 and 28 and reach Nampally at 2 pm the next day.
Hyderabad – Ernakulam (071 17/07118) will leave Hyderabad at 12.50 pm on October 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 and reach Ernakulam at 5.30 pm the next day. On October 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, it will leave Ernakulam at 9.30 pm and reach Nampally at 10.55 the next night.
The Kachiguda-Srikakulam (07148/07147) train will leave Kachiguda at 6.45 pm on October 6, 13, 20, 27, November 3, 10, 17, 24, December 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 and arrive Srikakulam at 8.55 am the next morning. In the return journey, the train will start from Srikakulam at 5.15 pm on October 7, 14, 21, 28, November 4, 11, 18, 25, December 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 and reach Kachiguda at 6.30 am the next morning.
54 trains between Kakinada and Kurnool
54 special trains will be operating between Kakinada Town and Kurnool from October 1 to December 31. The trains will leave Kakinada at 6.50 pm and reach Kurnool at 8.10 am the next day. It will leave Kurnool at 4 pm and reach Kakinada at 7.30 am the next day. These trains include AC three-tier, sleeper, and general bogies.
78 trains between Kakinada and Raichur
78 special trains will be operating between Kakinada and Raichur from October 2 to December 29. The trains will leave Kakinada at 2.25 pm and arrive at Raichur at 8.30 am the next day. In the return journey, the train will leave Raichur at 2.05 pm and arrive at Kakinada at 8.30 am the next day. These trains include AC three-tier, sleeper, and general bogies.
